Dr. David Anthes is a family physician at the White Cedar Health Care Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He provides general family medicine services on a walk in basis to the general public.
“One of the nice aspects of providing ongoing care to patients is that you really get to know and connect with people, and over the years develop deep and meaningful relationships that nurture wellbeing. I hope to continue to serve the community in a meaningful way and manage to maintain a good balance between work and leisure. If I could implement once change in the Canadian healthcare system, I would change the long wait times for specialist consultations as some patients do suffer quite a bit during these long waits.”
